2) Harambee Park in Boston
Located on Blue Hill Avenue, not far from Dorchester Center, Harambee Park has two fantastic playgrounds. The latest one was built in 2018 and is one of the most impressive playgrounds in the Boston area. An incredible place for kids of all ages to visit with a colorful blue and purple surface, this play area features multiple slides, a long bridge, talking tubes, a climbing wall, chess tables, and so much more!
3) Martin’s Park in Boston
Martin’s Park is right on the Fort Point Channel and offers stunning views of the Boston skyline. Using plants, stone, and wood to connect children to nature, this unique playground will provide kids with plenty of fun. Children can explore the playship, try using the elaborate jungle gym, or slide down the long metallic tube-style slide. 4) Mayor Thomas M. Menino Park in Boston
Here is another park with breathtaking views of the Boston skyline. Located on the edge of Charlestown, Menino Park has an equally impressive feature-packed playground. Parents can split their time between watching their kids and looking at unobstructed views of the beautiful Boston Harbor, with the option of zooming in using one of the observation binoculars on the boardwalk.
5) Cypress Street Playground in Brookline
A terrific playground located next to Brookline High School and the “Brookline Hills” train stop, this intricate play area is sure to bring many kids plenty of excitement. 7) Swan Street Park in Everett
Just north of the city, this park features an eye-catching playground with some great play amenities for kids. 8) Newton Centre Playground in Newton
